Territory

ScarletClan's territory is primarily composed of dense pine trees. Their average pine tree is hundreds of meters tall, and impossible to climb to the top. The canopy is composed entirely of layer upon layer of of thick pine-needle branches, and sun rarely seeps through.
Down on the forest floor, the ground underpaw is very soft and spongy, due to the humidity in the air. It's almost marshlike, dusted with a covering of pine needles that absorb the sound of any footfalls.
During the day, in the rare and scattered patches of light, snakes can be found basking in the warmth.

The forest looks almost the same at night as it does during the day, which makes night hunting easy and natural for the cats of ScarletClan.
